18/06/10 – Games Disaster

For the last 8 weeks I’ve been working on (along with a couple of my friends at YSTV) the revamped return of an old show called Games Disaster.

The show is basically a video games tournament involving 8 campus societies facing off against each other in a standard competition bracket styling.

With the show finally filmed we’ll be editing it over the next week or so and then it will go up on the YSTV website.

As much as I’m glad it is over (I can finally finish stressing over organising contestants and games) I’m a little sad.  It was a great experience, but with my impending (second) graduation I doubt I’ll have chance to do it again.

It will be great to see the finished product, and with me doing the commentating, it should be a good laugh too.

I’ll post more about the show the closer it gets to being finished, it’s looking to be a good one.
